Rochelle - Sales Supervisor

My ethos:
A quiet simple life doesn’t mean there’s no adventure.

Why did you choose Finishline?
This is my environment, culture, you are my people. The customers that come in the the relationships developed, the crew we have working here, the values that are positive and meaningful, you really can’t ask for anything better. And that’s the kind of experience I want everyone to have who comes into our Finish Line fam.

How did you get started in the cycling world?
At six years old I was hooked. I was told to look straight ahead and move my feet, and I did. I rode that bike until I realized I didn’t know how to stop and fell over. Isn’t that everyone’s story? Well here we are a number of years later and I am still falling over on my bikes. I got hooked on mountain biking when I was back in Tennessee, hooked on road cycling now that I’ve been working here. And I’ll stay hooked until I’m like all those champions into my 80s! Lol.

How does cycling make you feel?
Bring the pain! I like a challenge. I like just chilling for leisure rides, and cycling really does wonders for mental health. I get pumped.

What’s your favorite current bike?
Of course my sweet TCR! Really it has taken me places I never thought I could reach. That matte black is sick too!

Where’s your favorite place to ride?
I’m still learning and finding places to adventure. But I really want that sweet coastal ride. With salty air.

What is your advice to give to someone who just start cycling?
Ride how you want to ride. Cycling is meant to be enjoyed, and whatever that looks like for you weather speed, bike packing, rides to dinner, or chasing crowns, go do it.

How has cycling changed your life?
It brought me back. Really it has opened me up to so many wonderful people, to a community that sometimes goes beyond cycling.
